Worst Jag/Chevy conversion EVER!
This should sicken anyone, heavy drugs have to be involved.
How to turn a potentially VERY valuable XK-150 coupe into worthless garbage! Might be some parts to salvage. Yah, this one actually make me angry. [reno.craigslist.org] |

Who let a Jaguar snob in here? ;)
Wish there were more pics. I like the lines. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/30/2016 03:20PM by MGBV8. |

Re: Worst Jag/Chevy conversion EVER!
I'm reluctant to judge a modified car by just two photos of its exterior, or to judge its builder without knowing what they started with. And the Chevy aspects aren't shown at all. There might be very clever or well crafted aspects of this conversion...

Not a fan of the wheels and tires but I do like the look of the headlights. I agree with Curtis, need to see more pictures of the car.

Whoa! Dave! That's spectacular! The way the air dam blends into the Sebring flare is masterfully styled.

Re: Worst Jag/Chevy conversion EVER!
Thanks Curtis, this is Gary DuRocher's B, he just finished it this summer, the lime green color really brings out the shapes well and he has added a few details himself, I'm trying to get him to do a "how it was done" for the forum.

Re: Worst Jag/Chevy conversion EVER!
The Chevy conversion I could possibly live with.
The body butchery must be acid trip induced. I don't even want to know what "Reversed trunk" means. This car makes the hack-job I started with for my Trick-6 look good! |

Re: Worst Jag/Chevy conversion EVER!
Yes, the 350, OK, but the flared arches are gross and the headlights are worse. It looks like a cartoon.
What suits an MGB does not necessarily sit well on an XK. Ivor |
