$200k invested, he says.
Selling for $9,500. Some investment. Hopefully he had some fun out of it.

And I always have to admire the fact that a project like this actually got finished.

Surely worth the ask in parts.

And the only car I ever saw with airhorns in the cabin.

Or as it happens, another XJS, with Chevy ZZ502 (whatever that may be) + 700R4.
What one might describe as a little more sensible, and very nicely done.
Twice the price, but worth it imho.

That first car needs the stock hood and sensible rims and it'd be a very nice car perhaps. (Might need a stock height intake and air cleaner to do that.) I've heard that the BBB swap was the more desirable conversion for an XJS as there is no weight penalty for the extra cubes. It'd be much better with the 2004r transmission however.
