Jag MkII +350/700R4
Three cheers for the mechanicals, but the interior, hmmm
[cgi.ebay.co.uk] To me, one of the glories of this models is the woody leathery interior. And I don't really like the dechromed look or the skinny bumpers. Or the wheels. Oh well. Can't please everybody. At least it has bids. Been a couple of V8 XJS recently, cheap, got no bids, and there's a V8 XJ6 at the moment, cheap, got no bids. The MkII was a fine-looking car. Ivor |

Re: Jag MkII +350/700R4
Yes, I don't know about this one. As with the Minor, there's no way you could build it for the money you'd probably have to pay for it.
If you watch the video, so after he rolls out, he hits a road ridge that send reverberations through the car. The driver explains, it's got some 20 inch low profile tires on it, (read: bad ride characteristics). I thought the interior is good for what it is but yes.a full wood treatment is missed. What's with the black overspray on the exhaust? ( sounds like a comment from BAT) Ken |

No takers, and worse, no offers.
Going round again. [www.ebay.com] This @#$%& seems to like Jags, he also has that 2-door... which also isn't selling, plus an XK150 with its 6-pot. Well, someone will buy it eventually. Ivor Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/18/2015 02:17PM by 88v8. |
