There's a name infrequently encountered. Do recall a restomod with a RV8 a couple of years ago, but this 49 Javelin

is more of a shellomod with little of the original car remaining.

Do like the not-quite-Centrelines. And an unusual engine choice. Wonder what made him choose a 340 Chrysler. Perhaps because it was there.

But sitting abaft the B post always makes me think hmm.
Seems there are 'issues' given the time spent on the build and the lack of subsequent use. Not easy, building a car from scratch. At the end of the day, it has to be enjoyable to drive. One takes for granted that in the average car there will be no excessive noise, vibration or harshness and the driving position will be at least half-way decent, but in a self-build none of those things comes for free and it must require a heck of a lot of persistence to finish a car and then have to pull it apart to debug.
Perhaps the psychology of this may be easier for a subsequent owner who hasn't had to put in the hours. Many many hours in this case. Do admire people who actually finish a project like this.

US members may not appreciate that in the UK there is no annual roadworthiness test for cars of this age, although if it were newly built now there are a lot of hoops that have to be jumped through before it could be put on the road.

£12,500... far below build cost, I'd guess.
