Looks to have been done well, it got finished and it's in use. The Princess had a wood/leather interior. The period wing mirrors are a nice touch.

How is an 1,800lb car with max torque at 7,500rpm and a tiny flywheel, going to be anything but a pita.

Geared properly the thing would be a blast (I notice the diff is a chain drive so presumably the ratio could be changed there) however I notice not a word was said about reverse.
