Lovely XJ6 Coupe + sbc
Yes, the rare coupe, only 9,145 made in all variants including the Daimlers.
Here's a 76 that looks superb, assuming one likes the colour which I think I do. And very cheap at $12,990, at least by UK standards although it is modded of course and over here Jag owners are sniffy about modified cars. The 'wrong' sort of mods that is. Said to be a period Interjag conversion, so not a back-yard job. Shame that the engine pics are so poor. I asked the seller which auto box it has and the engine capacity, but they can't be bothered to reply and tbh it's a bit, dunno, I suppose it's a bit modern looking isn't it, and I'd want to do an rhd conversion, anyway the enthusiasm's not there so I've decided to give it a miss. But the interior's like new, usually the leather's knackered and it's all rather tired, but this has really been looked after. So here it is in SoCal, a rare and beautiful car. And just to highlight what a bargain this is, here's a common or garden saloon, OK it has a 383 with 6-pack, but it's still a saloon, and at $29,995 that's more than twice the price

According to Matt, the hot swap for an XJ6 is the Big Block Buick! (who knew) Easier than the SBC and more torque. Having lived with a XJ6/SBC in 350 and 383 trim I can speak with confidence when I say that the larger engine is the correct one. The 383 really woke that car up.
