Daimler Dart + SBF
Sure I've seen this before... seller has $$$ in his eyes...... has owned twenty years and driven 200 miles, well at least he's driven it...
This hepped-up shark is the A spec, the one with the liquorice chassis where the doors fly open as you go round a corner. A gazillion pics of the exterior... little microblistering... none of the interior and one of the engine which is said to be a 260. Going to be nose-heavy, replacing that alloy hemi with an iron lump. Not rusty, been well stored it appears. The top looks OK. Manual trans, of some sort. Set of original steelies with dogdish caps, chrome looks good. No real description of the car, but his lawn is well tended, that has to be a good sign. And the more I look at it the more it looks to be pretty good. In Kentucky. Bidding is brisk, someone might get lucky. Oh, and it's a right-hooker. [www.ebay.co.uk] Ivor Edited 1 time(s). Re: Daimler Dart + SBF
Sold for $17,500.
The price of these cars has rocketed in recent years, £40,000+ in the UK and I wouldn't mind betting that this car will be on the way over here. Ivor |
