I think everyone can agree the Mazda Miata was British inspired. My build is shaping up like so... 1990 Miata with Oldsmobile 214 4bbl with 6in Carrilo rods and custom forged flat tops. 12:1ish on the compression as this will be an E85 build with hot mechanical cam and small nitrous plate system. Dad is going to work his magic on the stock heads which will be completed with over size valves and custom roller rockers made for Olds version of the 215. I will work my magic with the 200-4r setting it up with transgo kit for custom non-lock up 9inch converter with 2500ish stall. Rear end duties are coming from 2018 mustang 8.8irs. Wish us luck.

Welcome to the forum.
You are doing a unique swap into the Miata.
The number of different types of engine swaps into the Miata is quite amazing.
I watched on Uncle Tony's Garage on youtube where he stuck a Dodge slant six into an old beat up Miata.
I am looking forward to the day when someone puts a Ford Flathead in one!!!!!!!!!

Anyways have lots of fun and take lots of pictures as we like pictures.

Byron

You should start a journal.
