Owner: Phil Ossinger, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada

Car Model: 1977 MGB Roadster

Engine: 3.5 Rover. A close friend did the machine work. I did the rest, including the ceramic and powder coating. The block and heats were baked at high temperature, then powder coated satin clear. Twenty thou over 10.5:1 cr pistons (ceramic coated tops & dry film lube skirts), custom Erson cam and valve train (with DFL), heads, exhaust and intake port matched, ceramic coated combustion chambers, custom air intake, custom motor mounts using early Corvette trunion bushings that just happened to be on the shelf.

Cooling: early Mustang rad moved forward, custom aluminum rad mount and bulkhead, electric puller fan.

Exhaust: Ceramic coated headers, dual ceramic coated exhaust with x-pipe. Both exhaust pipes exit in original B location through a custom built resonator with SS tips. Heat shields over muffler and resonator.

Transmission: T-5 with 0.63 OD and Weber HTOB.

Rear Axle: Stock MGB

Front Susp.: Stock, lowered to chrome bumper spec with new springs, poly bushings.

Rear Susp.: Lowered to chrome bumper spec using aluminum blocks, custom panhard rod and traction bars, poly bushings.

Brakes: Stock master power brake, Goodridge flexible braided lines front and rear, drilled and slotted front rotors, Green Stuff pads, stock rear brakes.

Wheels/Tires: 14 x 6 aluminum, 7/17" wheel spacers, HTR 200 Sumitomo, 205/70R14.

Body Mods: ST air dam, shaved side markers and side chrome, custom grill, chrome bumper conversion with 1970 (split rear bumper), custom license plate holder.

Interior: Fiero seats, Dolphin gauges, roll bar with high mount LED brake light, Crowe 5-point harnesses.

Electrical: Stock wiring harness, compact alternator from Kobota diesel tractor.

The shop....50 x 72 "hobby shop", including a paint booth, owned by a very good friend who is a high school shop teacher. Every tool and machine needed to build just about anything"! Great place for friends to hang out evenings and weekends - lots of world problems solved as well as great projects created.
