August 2017
Just now pulling everything apart and making a build sheet.
I had been considering an LS1 having seen a few on line but my son is a Nissan enthusiast and as a professional mechanic that is his specialty. He sent me photos of Bill Ashby's beautiful 67 CA18DET conversion with close ups of motor mounts and that incredible exhaust pipe.
My son has convinced me that is the way to go especially given the detail in his short narrative and the photos have already saved us time and energy. We know we have our work cut out for us but seeing several big solutions is encouraging.

Looking for more information on that 67 Alpine build led me to this site.
