BritishV8’s Project Journal section has been operational since January 2009. In those ~14 years, we’ve hardly experienced any downtime at all… until this week.

This week, users have been unable to create new threads or messages.

Unscheduled server maintenance has been completed today. Every message board feature is functioning now. (Try it, and let me know...)

Since November 2014 - 9 years - BritishV8 hasn’t solicited or accepted any advertising revenue at all, with the sole exception of Google ads. Those only bring in a couple hundred bucks per year. User contributions that used to add up to several thousand dollars per year, have tapered off to less than $100/year. Unfortunately, that's not sustainable.

To support continued maintenance including a long overdue server upgrade, and to meet other fixed costs, I’m requesting your support.
