My 66 Tiger
First post here. Those of you that frequent other Tiger sites know my car's story, for those who don't
Found my car a few years ago in Ebay.....have done a lot of work getting it to where I want. My most recent change is a new engine. It's a 347, complete roller engine. The engine made 416 HP on the engine dyno. I expect another 60 with additional tuning. The car is an absolute blast to drive now and is the fastest car I have ever driven. With 6 pounds per HP, it is in the super car class. It needs bigger wheels and more rubber. That will be next year due to the budget being shot with the engine build. [www.youtube.com] Here is a link to the engine build - [www.facebook.com] [www.youtube.com] This is a great web site with lots of really good info and ideas. Edited 2 time(s). Re: My 66 Tiger
Nice!!! Welcome to the website, Duke.
We don't get to see enough Tigers around here. It would be wonderful if you would please fill out a How It Was Done worksheet and send us a bunch of photos so we can add your car to our much-too-small Tiger photo collection. |

Re: My 66 Tiger
Gorgeous, and damn am I jealous.
See, I used to own tiger Mk 2 #164 and I am still kicking myself for ever selling it (what, fifteen years ago?) But I've finally replaced it with a Fidget (289 HiPo powered MG Midget) Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/09/2011 04:22PM by highmileage. |

Fidget....first time I heard that term. What a monster that must be. Good for you.
