Dr. Larry Mayfeild just set the record for the worlds fastest @204.912. The car started off as Sunbeam Alpine and now has a turbo'd small block ford. He has been working on this project for a number of years.
Like to say congrats to him because I know how much work it takes to go fast in a Sunbeam

As somebody who is working on the world's fastest MG record I can appreciate just how much time and effort goes into an achievement like this....nobody see's the long hours of building, tuning and testing that go into just getting to the salts let alone the work that happens actually at the flats.

Well done guys, justly deserved. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h235/MGMagnette/Smilies/good1.gif
