I am hankering to own a French styled classic car like a Delahaye but since I have a peanuts budget
I just noticed that if you take the windscreen off a '53 Sunbeam Alpine it looks like a minitature Delahaye by Figoni et Falaschi or one of those guys.
So I know there's a red one around the Inland empire with a V8 in it, maybe a 289, I was wondering if anybody knows if it's for sale or knows of a simiar hot rodded one that's running.
This is not the Sunbeam Tiger body style but the earlier one like featured in the movie It Takes a Thief with Cary Grant

Wallace, have you seen the article on Dan Root's car from Kansas City? [www.britishv8.org]
A combination of MGB and several years of early Ford parts, definitely has the lines of the old French cars such as you describe.
