Mustang Turbine wheels

These Mustang Turbine wheels are 15x7. I'm thinking with flares and 205 50 in front and space the rear out 1" and 225 50 there. The early Factory 5 Cobra's used them a lot with spinner center caps. I would paint the wheels Gunmetal gray and polish the fins and rim.

I really like those wheels, but I'd probably run them unfinished for a more period (60s) look. They don't look easy to keep clean though.

They remind me of the original JAP wheels that were popular with the Tiger. JAP stands for J.A. Pierce. They are making them again. Check out this link:

I ran them on my TR6 for several years. I think they're great.

The front hubs were redrilled to match the rear Ford straight axle bolt pattern.
