1954 Singer SM Roadster
I might halft' to go see this one ! It says "aluminum body with aluminum/wood frame", sounds British . Seemingly rare, looks a lot like MGTD, except for grille ? Anybody know about these ? Thanks, Art.

Re: 1954 Singer SM Roadster
One thing to be very careful of is the rear of the body - very difficult to repair properly if it's been hit there.
As I recall, these had an OHC inline four of about 1500cc, and were a tad less angular than a TD - leaning more towards the Morgan or Bantam in appearance. The last one I saw had been built into a semi "Rat Rod" with a V8 - too bad, but the body wasn't really a decent candidate for restoration when the guy found it with no chassis and a few scattered parts.
