NEW HERE converting a mgb gt 3.5 to 4.6
Hello,
I follow this forum now for more than a year. Did get much useful tips from here. i' ve got a question about what type of oil pump cover to use for the 4.6. The mocal pomp cover that was fitted on the 3.5 doesnt fit onto the 4.6 because of the crankshaft crosbolts. Anybody knows what the options are? Sorry for my poor english,i live in belgium. thanks, jones |

Do you mean the front cover that goes over the timing gear and the water pump bolts onto? Kevin. |

Jonas,
To further clarify, are you using the 4.6 crank driven oil pump front cover? I do know a guy who lives in Belgium who has built all sorts of Rover V8 engines and it may be helpful to have someone local who speaks your language. His name is Dimitri and his forum name is Wotland and he can be found on the V8 Owners Forum which is very good for Rover specific information. Link. [www.v8forum.co.uk] kevin. Edited 1 time(s).
