Arkley mg midget with sbc
Saw this on the Arkley owners website. Thought the final outcome was great. I own an Arkley and I may be headed in this direction. Well, sort of this direction:-)

It doesn't look like he can steer the front wheels without rubbing on the headers...

looks to me like the headers are clear of the front tires -- they kind of wrap following the arch, but a few inches away... appears to be enough room for turning the wheels to me.

Re: Arkley mg midget with sbc
I do not know for sure if it turns, but I do know it will go straight....received this email from David a couple days ago...
"My machine is still the most fun you can have – I’ve now raced it twice at “The Texas Mile” which is a standing-start mile event. My top gear was wrong the first time, so I could only manage 138mph in the mile. Last time I had ignition problems and only did 131. My goal is to hit 150 and then retire!" "I can recommend going the V-8 route – 425hp in a midget is awesome!" In talking with David, this is a well thought out car. When my Arkley grows up, I want it to be just like Davids! |
