1980 Steering Column Bush Replacement

Has anyone re-bushed a 1977 -1980 steering column? I seem to have a lot of play in mine. I'm wondering how difficult a job this might prove to be.......before I remove it from the car.

Martin, Gerry Masterman used to rebuild steering columns and has all the info on how to do it. He sometimes checks out the MG Experience forum, you might be able to get in touch with him through there. [www.mgexperience.net]

You're more than welcome Martin. I saw where you made contact. Gerry does great work, I know you'll be pleased with the result.
