5 lug x 4-3/4" bolt circle x 15 wheels for MGB

I have opted to install a Fast Cars IFS and need to upgrade to a 15" wheel (Chevy/MGC 4.75 bolt pattern). I want to use a five lug but have not been able to locate anything? I've contacted over a dozen dealers with no luck. I need a 4.5" backspace or 22mm offset on the wheels. Any help would be appreciated. If you have a set to sell that is good - excellent condition please let me know. Also selling a brand new set of wheels with brand new 215/60 Cooper tires, mounted and balanced - zero miles on them. I bought them prior to going for the new IFS, they won't fit over the brakes. $750

Mike, 15" 5x4 3/4 lug pattern are available from a bunch of places... for 4.5" backspace to be the same as +22mm offset, you'd have to be looking at 7" wheels (if I did the math right). Check the Shelby & Vintage styles here... [www.americanracing.com].

It'll be difficult to find that size in a recent OEM wheel, but shouldn't be too difficult in after market.

Good luck

Rob

If you go with a billet wheel they can make just about anything you want in that pattern.

Why do you have to use 4.75? Ted will do the IFS with any bolt pattern you want. With a +22 7" wheel, you'll have way more choices at 5x4.5 (5x114.3) &/or 5x100. I used 5x4.75 thinking chevy pattern wheels would be easy to find but then struggled to find 15" wheels in that patter & 0 offset that I liked. I ended up with wheels I really like a lot -- American Racing 427P's -- but they cost way more than I'd have had to spend otherwise.

I don't know if you like these or not, but they will fit on Ted's IFS

Mike...

I would recommend a 16" wheel with the FastCars IFS. The clearance is sufficient for 15" wheels...but you REALLY need to watch where your tire weights are located. I have 15" Superlites on the GT.

If I were to buy wheels again, I would definitely go for the larger 16" diameter.

I can't afford the the fast cars front end, but I do like the way my
16 x 8 front wheels fill up the front wheel wells. Summit racing
has stacks of 15" wheels to choose from, most with several
off sets to choose from, just my two cents.

You are looking for one of the most common bolt patterns out there. Wether or not they make the wheel in the pattern you want will be the issue.
