Nice job Steve, you should be proud, and I like your wheels! As I'm in the market, what kind are they, and where did you get them?

Re: It's finally back from body and paint
Paul,
The wheels are Seven X's by MB wheels. Sold by Discount Tire - they have a web site. Mine are 15 X 6.5 4 lug with two different lug spacing patterns, 100mm and 114.38mm. One of those spacings is the standard MGB spacing, I forget which one at the moment. The tires are General Exclaim UHP's 205 50 R15. |

Getting paint is like turning the corner towards a final completion....won't be long now before another blue oval hits the streets.

Re: It's finally back from body and paint
Calvin,
It's 1972 Dodge B5 blue. There are variations of B5 blue across the late 60's and early 70's, some years are lighter in color and some have a bit of green mixed in the blue. The 1972 version has no green and is the darkest version. What color is your Triumph? |

Re: It's finally back from body and paint
Steve,
The color I used was a Dodge 2004 Atlantic pear blue. We had a Dodge Durango with this color, and Brenda (my wife) said that would be a classy color to use, so I said "Okay" since I'm the color blind one. When we purchase a gallon it was very pricey, not knowing it had 3 pearl color metal flack in it. It was almost 6 bills just for the paint. I would like to see yours someday, because it looks fairly close to my color. |
