There is an MGC Hood/Bonnet for sale on eBay. Item Number 390564401851. Seller appears to be in Rye, New Hampshire, USA. I will post a question regarding material Steel or Alloy. No stainless trim in the photos.

From the product description:

Original MGC Hood in very good condition. This rare used hood fits 1968 and 1969 MGC Roadster and MGC GT Coupe. These hoods are no longer available new. Solid, no corrosion, but existing paint is shiny, it is cracked, bubbling and peeling. There are dolly hammer marks on the underside. One of the captured nuts holding the safety latch is missing. The inner support at the back side for the hinge mounting has minor bends just in front of the hinge points. The chrome outside front strip and hood latch mechanism is not included. Will need to be stripped and repainted to match your car. This is not a steel hood. It is aluminum alloy.

You are bidding on a used hood.

We have listed this part for local pick-up as the size requires trunk freight which is available on request. Buyer pays shipping charges.
