Hedman Headers
Hey guys, I spotted the following headers on ebay and asked the seller about them. He claims they are "RV8 style". I have been able to find 302 and block hugger applications of Hedman headers on this forum in the past, but I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this particular set in an MGB (mine is 1978 w/ a TR8 3.5L).
[www.ebay.com] If the photo is to be believed (which I don't necessarily), then these look like the collector is too wide and I would have to cut away most of my fender... any help/feedback is appreciated. |

Re: Hedman Headers
No experience with them. They appear to be angled to stay tight to the block. I'd be concerned about them dropping down too low before they turn back. My headers (same as what Pete Mantell sells I believe - I got them from Steve Carrick before he started doing Advance Autowire) only drop down about 5 or 6". Attaching a 90° elbow lines up just below the floorboards.

Re: Hedman Headers
That part # is for a v8 range rover.
I don't know for sure but I would suspect that fitment into a B would be terrible. Cheers Fred |
