Re: More room in a B
OK, now that's just stupid. I try really hard not to criticize creativity, but that right there goes against every single thing an MGB stands for. Even worst than the mile long Vette limo down at Myrtle Beach. At least with the Vette you could have said (for that year at least) that it wasn't truly a sports car, but in this case, pure unadulterated blasphemy.

Re: More room in a B
That's the stretch MGB owned by Dino Perez of Chicago. It's been finished since 1990 or so. It's not that bad of a car...it saved a couple of MGBs from the crusher, and is quite a conversation starter.
Not everyone's cup of tea...and one would need a stretch garage for storage. Dino is one heck of an enthusiast and a really, really nice guy. He is pictured here, standing on the left behind the RV8. With him is Tom Radditz, who originally imported the car into the States from Bermuda...it was a basket case....a hurricane car if memory surves me correctly. BTW.....he also owns a real MG RV8. Re: More room in a B
Great idea, one of a kind. Now just imagine it with with a big blower sticking out of the hood.

did it have a larger engine or brakes? i know when i loaded up my MGB GT (back when it was just a small 4 cylinder) it had to really work to move all 4 of us and then stoping took a bit more effert and then i got a bit of brake fade. cant imagen how much more that would be with the longer body and full of people
