rocker switches

Has anyone found a supplier of robust black rocker switches that fit nicely in the stock dash cut outs?
I mounted my new Advance Autowire panel and would like to install the cooling fan, hazard and fuel cutoff switches mentioned in Dan's instructions.

Moss, Victoria British, and others sell the OEM style ones.

IDK which dash you have but I'm likely to fit Durite rockers to my (UK) '79 dash.

MGB567,
My 1978 B has 4 rectangular locations which measure ~28.7mm X 22.1mm. The Durite rocker online is 19.5mm X 13mm. Are there others which provide a tighter fit?

Rob,
The problem I'm having with the OEM switches is I can't find the 3 position for the (manual, off, auto) functions Dan describes for the cooling fan. Any thoughts there?
Thx.

Isn't the '78 heater blower switch a 3 position (Off - Low - High) ?

I used 3 smaller illuminated rockers stacked 3 high to replace each of the headlight/heater switches. Epoxied each trio together, they also come in black, and then will fit the stock cutout with maybe just a little filing. That gives separate control of the headlights, marker lights, and fogs or driving lights but wiring a 3 speed blower can be a little tricky, especially if you want to light the switches.

For the Hazard I used a standard black handled toggle (more reliable) with a red switch cover and made an insert to center it in the old cutout. Same for an auxiliary radiator fan switch.

This didn't get me sealed connectors or sealed switches, so I cast silicone boots to hold the connectors on the switch trios and more or less seal to the bodies. With relays they have held up pretty well.

On an earlier project, I used lighted marine rockers from MarineWorks... robust and sealed... just a thought.

Good tip Don. Marine wiring has much more trouble with oxidation than we do.
