Paul and Mary's "Silver Bullet"!!! (Ford 302 powered MGB)

This is a wonderful car, and it's shown in exquisite detail - 95 step-by-step "How It Was Done" photos!

Frankly, there are so many trick details on this car that even 95 photos isn't really enough; We'll just have to photograph it again next summer and see if we can fill in some gaps. The write-up is pretty long overdue for being added to the photo gallery, so finally... here's the link: The Silver Bullet: Paul Schils' 1971 MGB with Ford 302 V8 Engine

I think the fourteen photo sequence on installing Huffaker-style fiberglass flares is particularly interesting.

This car is scary at first! Incredible acceleration. Awesome sound.

Amen to that!

I'm insanely jealous of Paul's skills.

ohh my gosh that's gorgeous! I love the color choice, the attention to detail, the Frenched license plate, the interior... I could go on!

Paul,
I like the way you took the subtle racing strip on to the dash . Also the subtle racing strip looks great without attracting law enforcement .

I don't usually like flares, but these are really, really nice. What a good-looking car.

Beautiful. My "better half" laughs at me when I show her pictures like these and talk about such things!
