B Roadster on BaT
May have seen this nicely detailed roadster, auction ends tomorrow.
Hard and soft tops. Turnkey. It has ten years and 5,000 miles on it, so may be regarded as debugged. Rover V8, 4-speed + overdrive, and it has SUs, the whole 'period' experience. Unless things buck up in the last days it's going to be ridiculously cheap. [bringatrailer.com] Ivor |

Re: B Roadster on BaT
Sort of sends a mixed message doesn't it? I mean, that's going to great lengths in pursuit of an originality that is completely negated by the selection of body style. But hey, drop a 4bbl on it and you might have something.

Re: B Roadster on BaT
Looks good to me and looks to have been well done by the builder (who appears to be the seller based on seller comments in the BAT listing). Anyone know the car or owner appears to be (Dan Slater)?

Wow! Really jumped up at the end. It was about $13k when I looked earlier today.
