Has anyone seen DBL Agent
One of my Favorite MGBGT conversions I have seen. It has been awhile since I have been on the site but just wanted to share what I cam across if nobody else hasn't seen it, but like always I am sure I am late to the party. From Hot Rod Power '18, I ran across this on instragram, see rmmotorsports_jholyfield for more pics, I think this is just awesome!

Overall I like it, but that roof scoop has got to go. Hope this one gets lots of attention and promotes the marque to a new set of enthusiasts.

Looks great, Dave! Is there a build thread some where? I would like to see some pics of how they squeezed that engine in there. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/22/2018 03:21PM by MGBV8. |

This is the closest I found. Unfortunately few pics and no good ones of the engine bay... [theshopmag.com] By the way, I've reached out to the shop that built it to encourage them to bring it to Dayton. Will let you know if I hear back. Edited 3 time(s). I got an email reply from Joe; he's going to try to make Dayton. I'll be talking with him tomorrow.

That would be fantastic! Let Al know. We need to work out a time frame for him to do a How-It-Was Done parking lot session.

Re: Has anyone seen DBL Agent
Talked to Joe today. He wants to go but isn't sure he'll be able to work out logistics. His biggest money maker of the year is @ Road Atlanta (I think that's where he said) and they're supposed to load up to go there on the 15th. I encouraged him to come for whatever days he could make. Said he'd get back with me.
And, he's going to send me a bunch of pics to post here either way. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/27/2018 07:15PM by rficalora. |
