I don't know if you guys have seen this... it's very funny!

Bill Cosby explaining how he traded-in his Shelby Cobra on an MG TC V8: [uncutvideo.aol.com]

Bill Cosby's 1949 MG TC was hot-rodded with a Ford V8 by Carroll Shelby's shop sometime between 1967 and 1969. One reason I'm urgently keen to bring it to YOUR attention is that somebody somewhere has photos of this car. I need your help tracking down leads so that "British V8" can feature the car in an upcoming issue. Even if we can't get reproducible photos, it would be great to confirm the story and fill-in additional details.

This video was brought to my attention tonight by Jack Renaud. (Thanks Jack!) I understand that the story was also told on Bill Cosby's album "200 mph!" This album was first released in 1968, and is now available on CD. If you have a copy of the album, please check it and see if it reveals any additional info or clues about the MG.

PLEASE CONTACT ME if you have any tips for finding this car, contacting Bill Cosby, contacting Carroll Shelby, etc.
