I am new to the V8 swaps and I am at the point that I am starting to pick up parts for a swap late this year are early next. I have noticed that a lot of swaps are using the water pump fron a buick 300 V8, I assume that most of this is to gain a little room up front for fans. I understand that part but I also noticed that like me many of you are using a stock buick 215 intake on a 3.9 rover engine. The 215 intake has a big hose and a small one. It looks like using the 215 intake I don't see a hose port for the small hose on the back side of the 300 w/p, are most of you using a timing case from the 215 buick in a combo with the 300 water pump? Thanks for any help I get and I sure need it. I have a 1978B and a1995 rover engine.
