All you guys with journals need to update them!

There are a lot neat project journals on this site that haven't been updated in months (some over a year). Get out your camera and take some pictures then update your progress so we can all see what you have been doing.

I'm very guilty as charged Jim, it's just that I haven't done anything on my project in a long time. This winter it's the Midget's turn for a redo and then I'll try to get started on the MGA again.

Guilty as charged. Haven't done much, but slowely getting back at it. Not much fun taking pics of wiring though.

As always, the Healeys lead the MGs! (just kidding!) I'm a constant updater, but then I'm a unabashed attention seeker: [forum.britishv8.org] I've been enjoying this swap so much, it's fun to do the updates. I've got a lot of positive feedback from other guys. No matter what marque you are working on, your update can help someone with a similar problem.

I don't have a build journal because I didn't think I was far enough along to share all that much and it's going slowly due to my budget. Should I start one; and if so how and where do I do it?

Paul, that's the cool thing about journals, you add to it as you go -- doesn't matter what pace. You can post updates whenever you want & you can put as many pics as you want (there's probably a limit, but I haven't hit it yet & I have a bunch of pics in mine). Just like the "Pub", "MG", "Triumph", etc. boards, there's one for project journals. You can get to it by clicking on the "Web Forum" button at the top of the page & then selecting "Project Journals" or just click here... [forum.britishv8.org].

You can put up to 100 pictures in a journal, that's a LOT of pictures!

Thanks guys, later today I'll try to sort my pictures out and pick the ones that I think are good.

Guilty as charged as well...sorry!

Things have been moving along with the Magnette but at a slightly slower pace than previously. Health and wealth being the main governing factors.

I would rather post a long list of jobs completed in one hit and give you all something to read as opposed to just adding bits and pieces a little at a time and having you getting bored with it but if you prefer a bit at a time I am only to pleased to do that as well.

Some updates can be seen at www.enigmaracing.co.uk

I'm at the point of just finishing the templates for the alloy interior. It was hard enough making it in card, goodness knows how hard it will be in alloy. I've also made a folder to make the dashboard in one piece and it's the extras like this that take time but don't show up as a part of the car build.

Ian

I can't answer for everyone here but I would definitely like to see the progress as you go. I think posting more often also helps with my personal motivation.

Ok Jim that sounds good to me. I'll try to get some updates posted by the end of the week and I'll keep on top of it from there.

I have to admit I hadn't thought of it from a personal motivation point of view, I can see how it would help with a flagging mojo which kicks in every now and then.
