I have a Rover 3.5 with the original distributor and Pertronix module. I think that the HEI distriutor from a 350 Buick will fit but I'm not sure about hood clearance. I don't have a distributor at hand to measure and try. Has anyone out there tried this? Thanks!

The HEI dizzy will not clear the hood unless the engine is mounted very low and further back than normal.

I ran one for a while by spacing up the hood- looked terrible. Run the Pertronix and a MSD if you think you need more spark.
