Back in 1999 I met Kurt Schley at University Motors Summer Party. Nine months later I had a Buick 215 installed. I couldn’t have done the conversion without the help of Kurt and others that responded to my questions. Also the book “How to Give Your MGB V8 Power” and the chapters Kurt contributed to were very helpful.

Prior to the conversion very few people came up to me and asked questions about the car. Now I have a lot of interest. Top questions are

Is that a V8?
I didn’t know they made a MG with a V8.
The car must really go with that engine.
