Re: omni fenders ,what year?
Dodge Omni's and Plymouth Horizons were produced from 1978 through 1989. All years had the same fender flares. You can use either the fronts or the rears, the rears are shaped the same, just harder to cut off the donor car. You may want to do some measurment first before you buy any as I found that they were too wide at the bottom to work on my MG Midget, might be a bit wide for the Spitfire body as well. Work great on MGBs though. Here's a set, two front and two rears next to some Vette 17" wheels to get an idea how wide the bottom of the arch is.

Get your project "hoppin", from rock auto, called "wheel arches". Too cheap new , not to. NOT AN EDORSEMENT. roverman.

Re: omni fenders ,what year?
Not cheap, but I happened to notice that there are new LH & RH omni fenders on Amazon for about $70 each... just do a search for "dodge omni fender"

Re: omni fenders ,what year?
That's not a bad price. I picked up mine used for about $50 per fender. It took quite a bit of searching to come up with four of them. Other options are rabbit flares that seem to work really well.
Rob, your car is looking AWESOME!!!! Congrats. |

Re: omni fenders ,what year?
Wow, prices have really changed. I was able to scrounge my flares for somewhere around $25 each back when I got them. I'm seriously considering making molds once I get my brakes done (I found a couple of master cylinders that should work well this weekend & have one installed -- just need to bleed the brakes to test it out) and then a few other important things like getting the radio & A/C set up ;).

Re: omni fenders ,what year?
I have an extra flare from my installation somewhere. I think it is in pretty good shape with the exception of a couple of dings that could easily be repaired. I'll sell it to you for a million dollars. ha!
In all seriousness, if you want it maybe you have a couple of parts I could use. Then you only need three more! Rob that's an interesting idea about making molds of the flares. Particularly the front ones which aren't super easy to fit as you know. Cheers, Chris |

Rob
What kind of M/C did you use. I have always thought the MGB one could be better. And cheaper. Bruce |
