Re: Roadmaster Events List
Also, the new airbag was installed with a standard hex pipe bushing I believe. This moves the fitting down and causes a side load in the hose and fitting which probably causes a leak. It might be possible to drill a couple of holes in the face of the headless bushing that is in the original air bag and remove it with a pin spanner so it could be reused. I don't think I have any of them left in stock so if you need one we'll have to see about putting in an order.

What was the name and address you guys wanted me to send the T-shirt to? We have 2 large and 1 medium left, I figured I'd send a large but I've lost the address.

O-kay.
I've seen No response to the LAST question. How about THIS one: Any interest in the Roadmaster making it to the BMTA conference? M |

Didn't even know about BMTA but it seems like our sponsors would want the car there,

Just for the record, since there is no record of it in this thread, the MG Roadmaster did make an appearance at the BMTA conference in Richmond, Va thanks to Max Fulton.

Re: Roadmaster Events List
Max,
Jack (aka twig) was full of praise about RM and he did drive around the route 221 section near Grandfather mountain, a fine piece of road for a sports car. Jack's friend is the connection at the High School. The kids liked the car, but not all of them knew what a carb was, only a few knew of the MG. Most took photos and texted them. The car is running very well. Climbing from N Wilkesboro to the Blue Ridge Parkway did not require downshifting! That's a long steep grade with two truck turn-out sand piles on the downhill lane. Re: Roadmaster Events List
Man. I wish I'd been there!
Guys, this is a run you should go to a lot of trouble to make. The route they ran hit some of my all time favorite roads anywhere, and you can include the Dragon in that lineup. Up Gauley Mountain to Hawk's nest is without a doubt one of the best roads suited for high powered sports cars that you will find anywhere. 2 and 3 lanes of a major pre-Interstate national highway going through some of the tightest kiss your ass turns a semi could possibly negotiate, I learned to drive drifting from one curve to the next down that mountain. Over the hill and into Fayetteville for lunch just continues the fun, and back out Rt. 16 is a great mountain road with a built in slalom course. Overall that loop is an incredible driving experience, and when you have time to look at the scenery it just gets better. The WVBCC has made this an annual event and is very likely to repeat in the fall. Once Dan has put it on the schedule, believe me, you do not want to miss it. I fully expect to be there at the next run, and with my roadster. It stirs the blood just thinking about it! I could hear the grin over the phone. That is a perfect road for the MG-Roadmaster and I can't help but envy Dan just a little getting to toy with the field in that car the way he undoubtedly did yesterday. You see, I know that road. I know just how he took the corners, and I know just where he nearly broke the rear end loose going up the hill because it's just about the way I'd have done it, and above all else it is just an incredibly FUN road to drive! Without a doubt one of the best anywhere. Jim |

Re: Roadmaster Events List
I'll try to drive up for your next club event on those roads, sounds too good to miss. In my younger years I did a few rafting trip on the Gauley in Sept.
Dan glad you had a fun drive! PJ |

PJ, in my younger years I guided those rafting trips. Who knows, we may easily have been on the river together.
