Hey guys, I have the lt77 transmission and to start with im going to be using the stock b rear end, does anybody have the info for how many turns the speedo cable makes for calibration purposes? I figured if somebody has this set up info it would be lots easier than having to lay out marks on the ground and tire and push the car along etc. thanks
Randy

Randy,

There are charts on the internet if you know your tire diameter. I believe someone posted one on this website a few years ago that you can plug your specs into and it tells you how fast you're going at any rpm. I thought I saved it but couldn't find it. Sorry.

It seems to me that the ratio is imprinted centerpoint on the face of the speedo, at the bottom.

I’m not all that familiar with your transmission and maybe this won’t help, but all information is worth something I guess. Below is a website with a formula on how to do it for different transmissions. Remember when you told your high school math teacher you would never need algebra; OH Well !!! Hope it helps, but if it doesn’t, sorry, maybe it will help someone else. The formula below is for a GM automatic I think, I tried to remove the picture but it won't let me. Go to the website Paul [www.transmissioncenter.net]
