Re: 1973 MBG Wheel options
Check out "edgeracing.com". I found a set of wheels by XXR model 513 that are made to fit the 4 lug Datsun/Nissan PCD 114.3 (same as MGB). They are dual pattern 4x100/4x114.3 and have 8 spokes, very similar to Panasports and Minilites. They have 15 x 7 and 16 x 7 with backspacing at 15 mm. and a lip depth measurement of 2.25". You can also get them in 15 x 8 and 16 x 8 with a lip depth of 3.25". I've got my eye on them using the 16 x 7 front and 16 x 8 rear to go with my flares. You can order the wheels and tires as a package to save some money. No connection with them, I just like the wheels.

That website is the best I've seen for searching for wheels.
The ones you're talking about aren't pictured though. For now...and before I could decide on what to buy...I had a major tire blowout on Friday and was forced to purchase new 14"ers for my current wheels. Here's what they look like except mine are 4 bolt. Mark |
