Then, the NGK BPR6ES (long reach) is what you need. The BP6ES (non-resistor) is NLA. The old Buicks used a BP5HS (short reach & one step hotter).

BP6ES is a safe choice.
I changed to BP5ES in my 3.5, but it spends most of its time poodling. My carb, btw, 83 primaries with 7057 needles, 80 secondaries. Haven't checked the timing for ages, but probably stock. If your timing is advanced, best stick to BP6ES. Ivor |

I can't find them here. The NGK website says that they have been discontinued.
