brake pressure switch activated while bleeding brakes

I was bleeding my new brake system today when I apparantly activated the brake pressure differential switch. Fluid went low in the reservoir :-( ...........so now I cannot pump any fluid through the rear brake lines!!!! Did I activiate the pressure differential switch that blocks fluid to the rear brakes? How do i reset the system. I have the 1974.5 non-servo system that has the switch on the distribution block on the driver's inner fender.

Thanks for any help!

Cheers,
Martyn
