It's amazing how much money someone can have tied up in these little cars........

Looks like a nice car. The reserve price will tell the story of how good a deal it is.

I don't recall seeing MGB battery boxes sealed up quite like that. Lizard Skin on them, even!

They look pretty big, he may have them there for extra storage.

I can tell you that whomever gets this car, will be getting a meticulously constructed car. The seller is Larry Black, who happens to be the same guy who built my V8 Sebring gt. I purchased Larrys car on ebay in 2001 (it had a 3.8 V6 at that time). Larry had traded the car in on a new Ford F-150 pickup at a Ford dealer in San Angelo Texas! I can tell you that 15 years after intital construction the fiberglass work on the sebring kit has shown zero cracking and the entire body is as straight as the day I purchased it. Remarkable!! I tried for years to meet up with Larry, and finally hooked up with him last year at the Palestine meet. Here is a pic of Larry beside his/my mgb gt sebring.

That's a comforting testimonial, Mike!
I think you need to trade off some Arkley's and buy this project.

Graham, already sold three Arkleys in the last year. Now down to only one!!!!!! But, I do have kits on the wall to fab up two more.
Trying to figure out how to put an Arkley kit on an mgb...having said that, I have talked with Larry about the possibility of purchasing his gt several times..at this point I will follow the auction and see where it goes...hmmmmm...this would be a great car to put a 5 litre into............
