66B4FUN upgrade
OK! What do you think? Sorry about the quality of the photo, I can only focus on one thing at a time. I am completely redoing a 20 year old rework of our B. We have put over 250,000 miles on the B, it is time. I am upgrading to GM 60V6, 5 speed, reworked diff. I plan to start showing the whats and hows here with permission.

Don't think your seats match all that well...

Re: 66B4FUN upgrade
Kelly and Jim, thanks for the replies. Kelly I have always been a little different with cars. My first engine rebuild was a 59AB Ford. We decieded to not use the Ford, instead we chose a Caddie 4X4 with a Lincoln Zephyr gear box and a 2 speed vaccum shift diff. for the 39 Ford sedan, yes a CAN CAR. Jim, she gets what she wants I get what I want. Just look a little past the seats, all the way to the instrument panel. What do you think? Does it look OK? I know it will need a little polishing and force molding.

Re: 66B4FUN upgrade
So Charles,
do you force mold with a swing press or an escalating impact tension release device? 250 K in a "B"! There has to be a few stories there. Cheers And Happy New Year Fred |

Re: 66B4FUN upgrade
Fred, yes and no. I am trying to install an easy lift to get my B&&t out after 200 miles, there seems to be an aflicksion "note the sound like spelling" that has set in. Fred the other day with the B on the lift I was cleaning the accumulated wealth of grim from the underneath. Brings back old memories, there is Pikes Peak road gravel, which we can get no more, there is dirt from The Mighty Mississippi at Red Wing, there is tire rubber from the Inddy track, there is the sand from Death Valley, and the list goes on.
Thanks and may the force be with you and yours. Regards charles |
