Bill Guzman, Classic Conversions Eng has hubs with brakes. Cost is over $1,000 but the best way to match the rear axle.

The thing is, your GM axle is going to need new axles built anyways, so if you go there, you can either upgrade the front brakes to match or just have 4 lug rear bolt pattern to match the front.

We can provide a set of wheel adapters but they are over 2" thick on each side. This requires a front wheel drive offset like the later Camaros such as the 1993-2002 have. With that offset and these adapters, you would still require flares about 1.5" is my best guess- with the stock Camaro 245 series wheels and tire combo.

With the total of 4" wider front end, your rear axle is probably still wider than that and would still require narrowing along with potential other issues with wheel bearings or whatever.

Mid 70's Camaro/MonteCarlo hubs and rotors, have hub bearing seat machined to match MG hub, then use mid '70's Dodge Dart caliper, slot the mounting holes slightly and you're good to go. Have to run 15" wheels.

Easy if you can find to them, is to use MGC front "disc wheel" hubs. You'll also need MGC rotors, and turn the outer diameter from 11" to 10 3/4" on a brake lathe. Also a set of V8 B calipers/pads. The rotors and calipers are fairly easy to come by. It's the MGC bolt on wheel hubs that are very hard to find. They have been out of production for decades, so your only hope is to find a used set someone will part with.
But they do have the correct 5 lug 4 3/4" bolt pattern for GM wheels.
Other then machining the outer diameter, it's straight bolt on.

Bill

Thanks for info! I've already had rearend narrowed with new axles. Was trying to not continue throwing money at a project with hub brake option suggested. Are the brakes not good enough with ss brakes hoses and vented rotors and spec pads? The 215 engine is lighter after all. I won't be slammin them on from 130mph very often I suppose.

I have had the MGC option done in the past. 25 years ago kept spinning 72 wires on splines on 69 mgc gt automatic. after third set asked local British auto guru (Bill Boemler) to machine off splines. He made alum spacer with 5lug to fit Camero honeycomb wheel. With 245/15/50 tires on the C gt I called it a preying mantis.

I have several mgb wire splined hubs that are no good. hm? Diminsions are the same as C hub Are you all thinking 4 bolt are not strong enough for the wheels on v8 b or what.

4 lug is strong enough.

Brakes: Because you can get back up to speed faster fade is more of an issue.
