I was having trouble with the coil springs being crushed down to an 11" ride height by the weight of the cast iron Chevy small block. Cheap screw in type spring boosters lifted it an inch up to 12" ride height, but were just a stop gap measure.
I ordered 480lb Suplex springs not realizing they were lowering springs and ended up with a 12" ride height, so I fitted the spring boosters again to get by.
I've just had a set of spacers made that will give me 14" ride height to match the rear. Having anything made at a machine shop can be expensive but this could help out someone else that experiencing the same problem with their swap.
