There is now a Honda V6 conversion kit for the Miata. It uses the standard Miata transmission (5 or 6 speed) and the engine can be from an Accord or a minivan. The conversion includes a flywheel, clutch, Miata transmission adapter, and ECU parts/instructions. Supposedly a Honda V6 can be acquired for as little as $300. This provides a drivetrain option that was not available a year ago. Of course, I do not know how well it would fit an MG, and fabrication would be involved, so it may be too complex for this thread. But it is an interesting option that someone should look into.

Back to the old style bellhousing mounts I see, but those ears can be cut off.

Price seems a bit high to me at $2850. Would rather buy just the adapter plate for around a reasonable price like $250.
