Looking for Tim O'Brian
Posted by: Kenm
Date: March 06, 2015 11:47AM

I was looking at Tim O'Brian MGB with the 2.3L Turbo and I am doing the same. If anyone knows Tim, could you please ask him to contact me since I would like to ask him questions on his installations. I would like to learn from his mistakes and success.

I can be reached at kenmull@me.com

Thanks

Ken,

Where are you located? I'm near Richmond Va. I'm asking because I just purchased a 79 B to do a 2.3 turbo conversion on. I'll be picking the car up this weekend I hope.

I have a lot of experience swapping 2.3 turbo's in cars. I've put several in European MK2 Ford Capri's.

My plan for my MGB is a Folvo (Volvo DOHC 16V head on a Ford 2.3 block) Turbo engine, T5 transmission, Megasquirt (probably a Pimp unit)

I suggest you join Turboford.org if you have not.

You might try going over to the Feiro site, he has a Feiro with a Cady engine in it.

I know how that Northstar engine pulled my DeVille around, can't imagine it in a Fiero. I've seen it online, but never in person.
