MG RV8 DASH SWAP TO LATE MODEL MGB
I'm trying to install an MG RV8 dash into a late model MGB. Here's the problems I'm having.
I know they used the MGB body shell for the RV8. What I am having a hard time finding out is what configuration they used for the dash. 1) Is it the same as an early B, curved or a late B straight or a custom configuration. 2) It appears on the back of the dash there are several vertical brackets. Is there a partner bracket that gets attached to the car which receives the dash. 3) If so, where can I get these brackets. Does anyone have any clear close up pics of both the car side and the dash side or possibly a schematic from the manufacturer. |

I don't know if Scott has a BritishV8 account. I have an email address on file for him, which I'll send you via Private Message.
You might also consider contacting RV8 owner Simon Austin of British Columbia. Click here to see Simon's profile, and then click on the words "Send a Private Message" where they appear below it. |

Simon recently sold his RV8, but he may be willing to share the new owner's name with you.

Bill on the MGexperience site has retrofitted the RV8 interior into a MGB.
