I saw the article also. That thing has to be a hoot to drive. Back in the 60's at the autocrosses I competed in there was a Lotus 7 with a Mazda rotary in it Can't remember what was done to the engine but it was FAST. The thing would just squirt from corner to corner and usually took top time of the day. The only car I remember beating it was a 427 Cobra driven by Elliot Forbes-Robinson. Nobody beat him.

He attended the 2007 British V8 Meet in Willoughby, OH. Helped design our small parking lot autox course, but left the Midget on the trailer to be fair to the rest of us. He did do the track day at Nelson Ledges with us. He was a good 4-5 seconds faster than Pete Mantell & myself.

I believe he went from the V8 Meet to a Hillclimb where he set FTD.
