I almost don't need a spring. The only thing the valve is for is to keep out the boost and the boost will slam the valve shut and hold it better than any spring.

IIRC the spring on the check valve that plugs into the boost canister is extremely light. And one of those would probably be the best. Another thought would be to use the canister check valve on the new tank and leave it out of the canister for the front brakes. Probably over thinking it though.
