Once again we are left wondering; will it or won't it?

TD Goldwing.jpg

This well restored TD sleeper with its never seen before louvered wings - shurely shome mishtake - has been treated to an engine upgrade - the flat six four-cam from a Honda Goldwing, glimpsed here.

TD Goldwing 1.jpg

Since this loads a money resto was done, it has covered very few miles. These alarmingly angled shocks and that unsupported exhaust have not seen much road.

TD Goldwing 2.jpg

One wonders why?
As usual, Gateway are all photos and no facts, but perhaps there's a clue in the 'five speed sequential gearbox' and 'cruise like a motorcycle'.
Perhaps it gets old, having to call for Wilma!!

Yeah - really tired of seeing it pop up anew weekly on ebay. Seems like it's been on there a year!

It agree with the exhaust for sure. The shocks in the rear look like a case of, what's laying around the shop or what's cheap. I think a better option for them, if using those, would be to extend into the trunk area or use shorter shocks and springs.

Optimism is alive and well in the US of A.

I emailed yesterday to ask whether it has a reverse gear. No reply as yet, but I see the listing was taken down yesterday.
No doubt a coincidence.
Or maybe someone bought it.
Wilma !!
