Hello

I have had multiple opinions about putting the V8 into my 75 B with a chrome bumper cross member. The cross member was swapped out years ago to return the car to original design height. Some say I need to go back to the rubber bumper cross member, while others say I can stay with the chrome bumper cross member. Will it fit with the way it is if I use a SD1 style oil/sump pan?

Keep the CB crossmember. It will/can fit

My '79 with a OEM xmember & a Buick 215 has plenty of room under the oil pan. I have a CB xmember to install, but haven't. It came from a friend that used it under his '78.
